Merienda Time All Together

Twice a day, the kids of Ruel have "merienda", which is another name for morning and afternoon snacks. Normally the big kids come downstairs and the smaller ones stay up, but on this day everyone was out in the sunshine together. Definitely a photo-worthy occasion.

Happy 1st Birthday Baby E!

The first of three Ruel birthdays in July was Baby E, who turned one. He was suitably unimpressed and clueless as to what was going on, but did enjoy his cake :)

Goodbye Mr R.!

Today was another "sappy" (sad/happy) day at Ruel, as we said goodbye to Mr R. He is 3 years old and has been with us most of his short life, so there's a big adjustment ahead.

Mr R's new family includes a Mummy, a Daddy and a sister and he will be living in the United States.

Mr R is a cheeky delight and will be missed terribly here at Ruel. We love you and wish God's blessings on you and your new family.
