While they were there, Kuya David bought each of the children a colourful helium balloon.
Mr J chose a Batman balloon.
Miss J chose a Strawberry Shortcake balloon.
Mr P chose a helicopter balloon.
Here we are at McDonald's with all three balloons

Then, something TERRIBLE happened. Mr J tripped when he was trying to get on the tricycle, and his balloon burst. See his grumpy face.

When we got back to Ruel, the other kids were quite envious of the two remaining children with their balloons. All of a sudden, for some reason Miss J let hers go.
It went up....

and up...

and UP, until we couldn't see it anymore. There were a number of creative explanations from the kids about what had happened to it.
In a case of childish schadenfreude, Mr J couldn't hide his glee as Miss J watched her balloon sail up into the clouds (this picture was not staged, I just caught his face at the perfect time)
And so Mr P held the last remaining balloon. It was put in the kitchen (a supposedly safe place) but has since disappeared, and its whereabouts is unknown.
THE END
