The Facilities of Ruel Foundation

When I first started working at Ruel Foundation in 2014 and posting pictures of the amazing place, a common reaction I got from friends was "That's an orphanage!? But it's so clean, bright and colourful!" It seems many people have a preconceived idea of what an orphanage looks like.

At Ruel we are happy to smash that negative orphanage stereotype. When Pauline was building Ruel House, she deliberately chose high quality materials so that the place would last, and also withstand the weather conditions that Calapan sometimes experiences.

We believe children deserve a high-quality, clean, safe place to live, and at Ruel we provide them with that. Here is a sneak peek at the facilities of Ruel Foundation.
