Comings and Goings at Ruel - A Very Busy Week

The last week of February was a very busy one at Ruel.

On Monday afternoon, our beloved Miss J met her "forever family" from California. They stayed for three nights and left on Thursday morning to begin their new life together.

Miss P will miss her best friend very much, but seems to be coping well at the moment.

On Tuesday, Kuya John returned from the Post Office with a special box. Fiona, who is a friend of Kuya David from Australia, sent over six brand new soccer balls! They have been well used so far, and one is already on the roof.

We had four more visitors arrive on Tuesday. Titta and Laura, from Finland, volunteered at Ruel in 2013, and they returned for a couple of days to say hello.

We also welcomed Christian and Nikki from South Australia, who are now one week into their three week stay.

This was our dinner table on Wednesday night - 5 countries represented!

In among all the excitement we had another new arrival. Baby L is three months old and he is slowly progressing under our care.

Our Director Pauline also returned to Tacloban over the weekend to continue our outreach there. People have donated very generously and many house have been built for victims of Novembers typhoon.

The visitor schedule is very busy and full for the next couple of months. Life around here is never dull, that's for sure.
